    Thank you for your conversations here and in part 2. I enjoyed them both. I particularly resonated with the experience Jo shared at the end of part 2 of not being judged by nature. Nature reminds me I am wonderful as I am. We often hear of the challenges of coming out, I'd really appreciate a conversation about the things which feel joyous, how coming out as non binary has felt somatically for each of you and other ways you've experienced your non binary euphoria.

    This is so tantalizing that I'm trying it. I've migrated from Substack to Buzzsprout (Acast no longer allows migration elsewhere without email correspondence). When I migrate back, should I (1) click "Stop redirecting RSS feed" at the bottom of my Substack settings, or should I (2) delete the Substack podcast and do a full migration back to Substack? If I do (1), I guess it won't work because Substack will go back to the same old feed that won't update the artwork on Apple Podcast. If I do (2), does that mean I'll have to delete my Apple Podcast podcast and start over there? If so, won't it say that the podcast is taken? Thanks!

    • @TheCheatSheetsau
      @TheCheatSheetsau 3 місяці тому

      Hey there! Sorry for the late reply! Ok so, yes I deleted the podcast on substack after I migrated it across to Acast and could confirm the new RSS feed from Acast was working. As long as you make sure it migrates first then your Apple podcast show won’t be affected. With Buzzsprout just follow their steps for migration then refresh the RSS feed on Apple podcast to make sure it’s picking it up. Once you do this you can migrate it back across to substack, again, you don’t need to do anything with Apple podcast except refresh the feed. What you want to make sure is that on Buzzsprout (or whichever temporary host you use) the updated podcast artwork is showing there before you migrate it across to substack. Thanks for the update up on challenges with Acast btw! Let me know if you have any more questions and best of luck :)

    hmmm ... not such a good diagnosis of the the trjangle, I sense that you think you have a grasp upon it based upon your own interpretation .. ie the starting role as in you practically presume everyone enters as a Rescuer or Persecutor, but fob off entering as a Victim ... Maybe you should re-assess and wonder why you did this ? Where you thinking of yourself or your parents ?? 🤔

    Atheists saying God cannot be tested or observed so it shouldn't be considered, sure consider, even believe and force on others, things far less probable. "Science never promises certainty" is easy to say 3 years ago, before progressives ordered everyone to Trust the Science and obediently take the experimental clot shot, or lose their jobs.

    • @TheCheatSheetsau
      @TheCheatSheetsau 4 місяці тому

      Interesting perspective, thanks for sharing. I agree that science can be used by some (or perhaps even many) as a kind of new ideology that ‘must be trusted’. I would argue however that isn’t unique to the past few years but something that has happened for decades even centuries. The scientific method doesn’t allow for certainty, so if certainty is promised under the guise of science we already know it is being misused. We see this happening frequently in the media, by corporations and even governments in an attempt to build trust - and I think this is all the more reason for us to understand what the scientific method is really about. It is correct to say that something is backed by science but we cannot say that science is certain. Thanks for your comment :)

    Good video. My favorite is the OODA Loop (coined by strategist John Boyd). It's faster than the above. It's got 4 steps: Observe, Orient, Decide, Act. Essentially Observe: Gather info. Orient: Analyze it. Decide: Make a call. Act: Implement, but stay flexible! Note: it's a continuous process: It's a loop, not a linear path. Key here is to adapt, and loop faster than the competition.

    What is the difference between confirmation science vs reasonable assumption in science?

    • @TheCheatSheetsau
      @TheCheatSheetsau 6 місяців тому

      Just to clarify, are you meaning between confirmation bias and reasonable assumption? It’s a great question! How do we determine what is ‘reasonable’ and what isn’t? And does it change with time?

    • @StalkedByLosers
      @StalkedByLosers 6 місяців тому

      @LaurenKress exactly. I was accused of "Confirmation Bias" in the observation->question->hypothesis stage. But that throws me into a spin because what about science isn't? We make the prediction and if it comes true then we confirm our hypothesis and essentially entrench a form of bias. If we can't observe and form hypothesis, then essentially a wrench is thrown into the steps of the scientific method. We need to start with reasonable assumption / educated guesses. I think if you are open for it to be verified false then it is not a confirmation bias. Somewhere on th there is reasonable assumption to begin with, otherwise everything is confirmation bias. The entire scientific method then is "confirmation bias". What makes it not confirmation bias?

    • @TheCheatSheetsau
      @TheCheatSheetsau 6 місяців тому

      Sounds frustrating :/ the scientific method is essentially to see if an assumption (the null hypothesis) can be disproven. You can’t do science without educated guesses on what the alternative hypothesis will be!
